Shinjuro Rengoku was a powerful demon hunter who lived in the Taisho era. He was the father of Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. Shinjuro was a skilled swordsman and a powerful user of the Flame Breathing technique. He was also a heavy drinker, and his drinking often led to him getting into fights.
